The auditor of the Chamber of Control and Accounts of Moscow Anatoly Kuznetsov took part in a meeting of the ASOSAI working group on environmental audit

On December 19, a meeting of the ASOSAI (Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions) working group was held via videoconference. Representatives of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, audit bodies, supreme audit institutions, and the expert community from countries in the Asia-Pacific region participated.

The event discussed current issues of business entities' compliance with environmental requirements, the effectiveness of environmental safety systems and the assessment of economic damage from pollution and environmental risks resulting from man-made accidents and natural disasters in Asia-Pacific countries. Specific examples of the impact of civilization on the environment were examined. The participants exchanged opinions and experiences in the field of environmental auditing.
