The Chairman of the Chamber of Control and Accounts of Moscow Viktor Dvurechenskikh participated in a number of events in Ufa, Republic of Bashkortostan

On July 30–31, Viktor Dvurechenskikh took part in the 4th meeting of the Heads of Supreme Audit Institutions of the BRICS countries and meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Audit Bodies at the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation.

On July 30, the 4th Meeting of the Heads of Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) of the BRICS countries was held on the topic of «Sustainable Development Audit». The event was organized by the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation within the framework of the Russian chairmanship of the BRICS Association. The meeting was attended by the heads of the BRICS SAIs, as well as the audit bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and the Sirius Federal Territory.

Following the meeting, the Ufa Declaration of the Supreme Audit Institutions of the BRICS Countries was adopted, enshrining the SAIs' adherence to four key principles: increasing the role of SAIs in achieving sustainable development goals, commitment to the development of audit at all levels of public authority, combating corruption, ensuring openness and accountability. In addition, the participants of the meeting approved the work plan of the Supreme Audit Institutions of the BRICS Countries for 2025–2026.
